Add testimonials to WordPress
Paste the wall into a Custom HTML block. Replace your-wall with the slug from your wall's share tab. Leave the script address as it is.
- Open the page, post, or template in the editor.
- Click the + Block Inserter and search for HTML. Or type /html in a new paragraph and press Enter.
- Add the Custom HTML block.
- Click Edit HTML. On WordPress 7.0 and later the block has separate HTML, CSS, and JavaScript panels. Paste the whole snippet in the HTML panel so the div and the script stay together.
- Click Update.
<div data-wall="your-wall"></div>
<script src="https://raveroll.com/embed.js" async></script>
Until you publish, the embed says the wall isn't published yet. Collecting and approving is free.
When the script is removed
WordPress saves a script tag only for a user with the unfiltered_html capability. On a single site, Administrators have it. Contributors do not. On a multisite network, only Super Admins have it unless you grant the capability.
On WordPress.com, a script tag and an iframe both need a paid plan with hosting features activated. Hosting features turn on after you install at least one plugin. The free plan removes both tags when you save. If the snippet disappears, open Upgrades, then Plans.
If your role or plan strips the script, an iframe is stripped for the same reason. Put a normal link to your hosted wall in a paragraph instead. The address is https://raveroll.com/w/your-wall, with your slug in place of your-wall.
